Frequently asked questions
How does the extra charge work?
Every plan includes a number of box sales. Past that number, each box you sell adds a usage charge: 2% of what the box sold for, or $0.25, whichever is higher.
That means $12.50 is the dividing line. A box that sells for less than $12.50 is charged the $0.25 minimum. A box above $12.50 is charged 2%. At exactly $12.50, 2% comes to $0.25 and the two meet.
The charge is per box, not per order. Sell three boxes in one order and that is three charges.
What counts as a box sale?
The price of the box line item after discounts. Discount codes, automatic discounts on the box, and an order-level discount shared across the box line all come off first. Shipping, tax, tips, insurance, other add-ons and any non-box item in the same order are not part of it.
Is shipping or tax included in the 2%?
No. The 2% is calculated on the box price alone, after discounts. Shipping and tax are excluded.
What happens once I use up my free box sales?
On a paid plan, nothing stops. Each box past your quota adds 2% of its sale price, with a $0.25 minimum — so a $9 box costs you $0.25 and a $60 box costs you $1.20. On the Free plan there is no usage charge: campaigns stop after 10 box sales for the month.
Is the charge per order or per box?
Per box. An order containing three boxes generates three separate charges, each worked out from that box's own price.
What about a box I give away, or one that comes out at $0?
It still carries the $0.25 minimum. The minimum is per box sold, and it applies whatever the box sold for — including $0.
What happens if I change or cancel my plan mid-month?
Moving to a plan with a smaller included quota can turn boxes you had already sold inside your free quota into billable ones. Mysbox shows you the exact number of boxes and the exact amount before you confirm the change, so you are never surprised by it. Moving up a plan, or moving to a plan whose quota still covers what you have sold, changes nothing.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, you can. You can switch between plans through the 'Pricing' section in the app settings.
